- Unequaled wet performance thanks to a wet-focused compound with highly dispersible high surface area silica.
- Dynamic Front Formula (DFF) is a tire design method utilizing an intricately balanced combination of section profile, carcass material properties and assembly process to provide exceptional handling
- Carcass Tension Control System (CTCS) utilizes variable tension across the whole carcass width to optimize the contact patch for the ideal footprint and remarkable handling
- Jointless Belt construction (JLB) in radial sizes eliminates the belt overlap, resulting in smoother handling, minimizes the tread center’s dynamic growth at high speed, and reduces distortion and excessive heat build-up
- Tie bars linking blocks help rigidify the tread to improve handling and stability
- Rear tread has larger center blocks to cope with road riding and high power output engines

The Dunlop Trailmax Raid is a 40/60 adventure tire. The new Trailmax Raid is the new adventure tire of choice for true adventure riding enthusiasts.
All New Formula: Hi Silica is a highly dispersible high surface area silica used to increase the silica filler ratio to promote compound flexibility at low temperatures and provide tremendous wet grip and good durability.
Jointless Belt Construction: Jointless Belt construction (JLB) in radial sizes eliminates the belt overlap, resulting in smoother handling, minimizes the tread center’s dynamic growth at high speed, and reduces distortion and excessive heat build-up.
Constant Carcass Tension Control: Carcass Tension Control System (CTCS) utilizes variable tension across the whole carcass width to optimize the contact patch for the ideal footprint and remarkable handling.
Gravel: The tread pattern on the Raid had no issues in any of our gravel travel, and never felt like it was struggling at any time with grip. With the large open pattern on the tire, it never held gravel in between treads either. – Chris Trott/SCAR ADV
